Despite La Foux d'Allos being little known in the UK, it forms a major part of the 6th largest ski region in France and the largest in the Southern Alps. The village itself is 1800m high and has one of the best snow records in the alps.

There are over 200 kms of prepared ski runs and a massive amount of off-piste.

Generally, prices in shops and restaurants are about the cheapest we have ever seen in a ski resort. We now buy all our ski equipment in the village rather than in the UK.

In recent years, it has become more than just a place to ski and is now a lively place during the peak summer months.

With over 20 bars and restaurants to choose from and a regular market in the square, there is a great atmosphere in the village centre.
