Chalet Accommodation

The chalet is equipped for eight people. No smoking please.

Back in January 1988, we had a family ski holiday in the resort of La Foux d'Allos. We rented two apartments right next to the ski slopes so that the whole family (nieces, brother, parents and friends) could come with us.

What struck us on the first day, and is still true today, is how friendly all the locals were and what good value the village was. Prices in the village bars, restaurants and shops were much better than we had seen in other resorts. Many of the people that we met on that first trip are still friends today. We made a 'spur of the moment' decision to buy the chalet between as it offered excellent accommodation for a large family, was very close to the slopes and was in a great location for winter and summer use.

Behind the enclosed porch, there is a storage room for skis, boots, logs, etc. To the front, there is a spacious covered veranda.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven and four-ring hot plate, large fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric kettle and toaster.

On the ground floor, there is a large, open plan sitting and dining area with two large sofas, an extendable pine dining table with eight chairs and a log fire.

Through a door off the lounge area, there is a bunk bedroom with two bunk beds and a shower room with toilet.

Upstairs there is a mezzanine floor with a double bed and two double bedrooms, each with a double bed.  There is also a second bathroom with toilet.
